Description
A loose leaf, herbal tea infusion of dried yarrow plant (Achillea milefolium). 100% natural & free from additives.
Preparation: In a cup of tea (250 ml) pour hot water over 1 spoonful of the herb and leave it covered for 10-15 minutes, then strain. You can drink 2-3 cups a day before meals. For an anti-parasitic effect, a 3 minute infusion is recommended, from 10g of plant to 100ml of water, drunk in the morning on an empty stomach.
Yarrow if often used as a digestive aid, it is believe to offer benefits that can help with indigestion, bloating and gas. Due to its anti-septic properties, it also has a long history of use as a wound healing herb. It contains compounds that can promote the healing of minor wounds and cuts when applied topically or consumed as a tea. Yarrow has also traditionally been used to support regulating the menstrual cycle and to relieve associated symptoms such as heavy cramps and bleeding.
The medicinal plants and fruits that are used as ingredients for the products made by Măgură Monastery are collected from the spontaneous flora of the surroundings of the monastery, in the area of the Cindrel Mountains or are grown in the monastery's herb garden. The entire process, from picking, drying, shredding, preparation, packaging and labelling, is done by hand. Their recipes are their own and are based on old traditional and monastic remedies. The preparation processes aim to preserve the natural properties of the plants and fruits used.
