WHO IS CĂTINEAȚA?

Cătineața is the dream of a young team from Botișani county, who turned their passion for health, agriculture and entrepreneurship into a growing project rooted in the Romanian soil. What began in 2019 with an 8.2 hectare organic sea buckthorn plantation has flourished into 14.2 hectares today. Their mission is simple but powerful: to support healthier daily habits by bringing organic sea buckthorn nectar, a true Romanian superfruit, into home across the country.

WHAT DO THEY DO?

Cătineața produces a collection of organic sea buckthorn nectars and juices, created with care from fruit grown on their own plantation. The team manages every stage of the process themselves, from cultivating and harvesting the berries to preparing and bottling the juices. Combining their backgrounds, they've developed what many of their customers call the tastiest sea buckthorn juice on the market, one that appeals to both adults and children alike.

THE PRODUCE...

Cătineața nectars are cold pressed and only lightly pasteurised, a process that preserves the rich nutritional values of sea buckthorn while ensuring the juices remain easy to store at room temperature. To balance the natural tartness of the berries, the nectars are sweetened with organic, Romanian honey from trusted local beekeepers.

Alongside their classic sea buckthorn nectar, the team also offers a sea buckthorn, ginger and honey variety, which brings a zesty, invigorating kick to the fruit's natural flavour. Together these juices are both refreshing and nourishing, delivering the full potential of Romania's orange superfruit in every bottle.
