Made from an authentic recipe and cooked slowly over a wood fire, it has a creamy texture, a fragrant aroma, and a deep, comforting flavour.
Prepared at the end of summer, when vegetables are at their best, this zacuscă preserves the warmth and taste of the season for the colder months. 100% natural and free from additives, it brings together beans, red peppers, onions, tomatoes, oil and seasoning, all cooked down into a velvety, savoury spread that is perfect for slathering on fresh bread or serving alongside your favourite meal.
Behind every jar is Lădița Verde, a family producer from the village of Macea in Arad county, where vegetables are grown with care and transformed into preserves using recipes passed down through generations. Each batch is handmade in small quantities, ensuring the authentic taste of traditional Romanian winters.
