This sour cherry jam prepare in the traditional dulceață style captures that tradition perfectly, with whole cherries suspended in a glossy cherry syrup, vibrant, tart and richly fruity with the unmistakable aroma of ripe summer cherries cooked to perfection to preserve their natural flavour.
Made with just two ingredients - sour cherries and sugar - absolutely nothing else, no artificial preservatives or flavourings, just the pure taste of fruit in every spoonful. Spread it generous on fresh bread, swirl it into yoghurt or enjoy with pancakes. However you serve it, each jar brings the taste of Romanian summers into your kitchen.
Behind each jar is Lădița Verde, s small family producer in the village of Macea in Arad county, where fruits and vegetables are grown with care and transformed into delicious preserves. Each batch is made in the spirit oh home - simple, honest and full of flavour.
