Description
Only the finest beetroots are harvested and prepared by hand to create this vibrant delicacy. Colourful, delicious beets are pickled and with the addition of aromatic caraway seeds, to add a delicate, spicy warmth that perfectly compliments the natural sweetness of the beetroot. This pickle is perfectly balanced with sweet, sharp, rich, earthy flavours. They are great in salads, risotto or served cheeses and cured meats.
Traditionally in Romania, when the Autumn begins jars & barrels are filled with peppers, cucumbers, cauliflower, cabbage, grapes, watermelon, green tomatoes and many more. These delights are pickled or fermented for the harsh winter months. The colourful jars that line the shelves of pantries become delicious accompaniments to everyday meals.
