Made in Tecuci, a city long renowned as the heart of mustard making in Romania, this hot mustard with honey is prepared using carefully selected mustard seeds, gently ground on traditional flint wheels and blended with chilli flakes and 15% Romanian polyfloral honey from beehives on the hills of Moldova. Creating a unique balance between heat and subtle sweetness. The result is a lively, aromatic condiment with a sharp kick, 100% natural with no added sugar or artificial preservatives.
Tecuci has long been a centre of mustard craftsmanship, and Conu' Tache continues that legacy with an old recipe said to originate from the banks of the Bahlui River. This mustard is perfect for those who enjoy a stronger flavour - ideal with Romanian 'mici', roasted meats, cheeses or sandwiches.
