Wild bitter cherries are collected in the area of Câmpulung Muscel to create this delicious bitter sweet syrup. The wild bitter cherry is considered to be the 'jewel of the forest' or 'the queen of the pantry' and the fruits make an extremely refined and delicious syrup. Made with only bitter cherries, sugar & lemon juice. That's it! 100% natural and free from additives.
Bitter cherries are a true superfood, they are high in minerals and antioxidants and can contribute to the health of the body, despite the fact that their bitter taste can cause people to avoid them.
