Description

Harvested by bees, propolis is the richest source of polyphenols/ bioflavonoids in nature. This raw propolis is a natural, resinous substance collected by honeybees from buds and trees. Propolis known as 'bee glue' contains tree resin, pollen, essential oils, waxes and bioflavonoids.

It may help to maintain a healthy immune system with its' antioxidant, antiseptic, antifungal, antiviral, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties and is often praised as nature's antibiotic.

Bees coat the entire surface of their hives with propolis creating one of the most sterile environments known to nature. The sticky substance plays a vital role in protecting the colony from invasion from outside as well as the spread on infection within.

Raw Propolis can be taken orally just as it is. You should chew it for as long as it takes to break down the enzymes, allowing it to coat the mouth and throat. It can also be ground into a powder and added to smoothies or breakfast bowls etc.
