Description
A loose leaf, herbal tea infusion derived from the leaves of the bilberry plant. 100% natural & free from additives.
Preparation: In a cup of tea (250 ml) pour hot water over 1 spoon full of the herb and leave it covered for 15 minutes, then strain. You can drink up to 3 cups a day before meals.
Bilberry leaf can help in maintaining blood vessel health and improving circulation by strengthening blood vessels and increasing blood flow. Studies have also indicated that bilberry leaf extracts may help to regulate blood sugar levels and improve insulin sensitivity in individuals with diabetes. Bilberry leaf tea is sometimes used to support urinary tract health, as a natural remedy for urinary tract infections, to help flush our toxins and bacteria from the urinary system.
The medicinal plants and fruits that are used as ingredients for the products made by Măgură Monastery are collected from the spontaneous flora of the surroundings of the monastery, in the area of the Cindrel Mountains or are grown in the monastery's herb garden. The entire process, from picking, drying, shredding, preparation, packaging and labelling, is done by hand. Their recipes are their own and are based on old traditional and monastic remedies. The preparation processes aim to preserve the natural properties of the plants and fruits used.
