Description
Spring gentian tincture is a herbal extract derived from the gentian root (Gentiana verna). Spring gentian tincture has been used traditionally in herbal medicine for various purposes and is thought to be the natural solution for digestive health.
Gentian has a long history of use as a digestive tonic. The bitter compounds in gentian are believed to stimulate the production of digestive juices, this can help to improve digestion and alleviate symptoms such as bloating, indigestion, heartburn, stomach ulcers, gastritis or gastric/ intestinal inflammation.
Extracts such as tinctures offer a convenient alternative to herbal teas. Many are used in food, food supplements, cosmetics and as an ingredient by herbalists. It is important to note that whilst many people find herbal remedies helpful, individual responses can vary.
Internal use: Take a teaspoon of tincture up to 3 times per day 20-30 minutes before your main meal, plain or diluted in tea or water.
