The Ionatan apple is a Romanian variety of apple that you don't have the chance to taste anywhere else in the world! It has a sweet, slightly acidic, intensely aromatic flavour. The Voinești basin in Dâmbovța specials in the growing of this type of apple, it is famous in this region. Almost every household in Voinești has an apple orchard, whether it be a small or a large one.
