      WHO IS D'ALE GUSTULUI?

'D'ale Gustului' means 'About The Taste' and is a family business started by Alin & Tatiana Petric. It began with a small workshop for making traditional, Romanian jam and along the way they added a stone mill and a food truck to sell the products made at the farm.

      WHERE ARE THEY?

Their jam workshop is located in Cetea village in Alba County, Transylvania, Romania, an area where their grandparents come from. The fruits and vegetables used for the production of their products come either from their own farm or from local producers.

      WHAT DO THEY DO?

Alin & Tatiana met in France where their passion for good quality food brought them together. In France they developed their knowledge for the production and promotion of local products with a geographical identification. It was here that they also learned how the French, Italians & Spanish turn every breed of animal, every variety of fruit and vegetable or local recipe into products that ensure a sustainable life for the local community.

      THE PRODUCE...

Their assortment of jams currently include green tomato & vanilla, strawberry & lavender, apple & rose and a delicious rose vinegar. They are soon hoping to be able to offer their first flour products produced in their stone mill.
