Bilberries or 'forest blueberries', the treasures of the forest are bathed in acacia honey in its purest form, to create an ideal sweet-sour dessert which a deep blue violet colour. The bilberries remain intact as whole fruits and pop in your mouth, giving an incomparable flavour.
The product is unique and irresistible. It is ideal for breakfast with yoghurt, cereal, pancakes or simply a slice of bread. Or as an indulgent sweet treat straight from the jar. Once you've tried it we are sure you will be back for another jar or to try another flavour.
Melinis use advanced crystallisation technology to create this product, which allows for the combination or fusion of the bilberries with natural acacia honey at temperatures below 35 degrees. This allows for the fruits to stay whole and keep all of their nutritional properties and vitamins, it also enhances the aroma and flavour of the fruits.
Bilberries have a strong anti-inflammatory and detoxifying role as well as being rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. They provide a necessary daily dose of health.
