Description
Harvested by bees, propolis is the richest source of polyphenols/ bioflavonoids in nature. The tincture of propolis is obtained by the maceration of raw propolis in hydroalcoholic solution. This organic, high potency propolis liquid contains 30% high potency propolis.
Propolis is a natural, resinous substance collected by honeybees from buds and trees. Propolis known as 'bee glue' contains tree resin, essential oils, waxes and bioflavonoids. It may help to maintain a healthy immune system with its' antioxidant, antiseptic, antifungal, antiviral, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties and is often praised as nature's antibiotic.
Bees coat the entire surface of their hives with propolis creating one of the most sterile environments known to nature. The sticky substance plays a vital role in protecting the colony from invasion from outside as well as the spread on infection within.
Propolis tincture can be applied directly to the skin using a cotton bud or 4-5 drops added to half a glass of warm water to drink or gargle 1-2 times a day. Alternatively you can add a few drops to foods.
