Description
A light fruit compote made from only aronia berries, water and lemon juice - absolutely no added sugar.
Aronia fruit contains many essential vitamins and minerals for the human body, in high concentrations. It also contains vitamin Q, one of the rarest vitamins, with a role in the prevention and treatment of serious diseases. Another rare vitamin is vitamin P, which has a role in fixing vitamin C in the body.
The medicinal plants and fruits that are used as ingredients for the products made by Măgură Monastery are collected from the spontaneous flora of the surroundings of the monastery, in the area of the Cindrel Mountains or are grown in the monastery's herb garden. The entire process, from picking, drying, shredding, preparation, packaging and labelling, is done by hand. Their recipes are their own and are based on old traditional and monastic remedies. The preparation processes aim to preserve the natural properties of the plants and fruits used.
