Made in Tecuci, a city long renowned as the heart of mustard making in Romania, this mustard with honey is prepared using carefully selected mustard seeds, gently ground on traditional flint wheels and blended with 15% Romanian polyfloral honey from beehives on the hills of Moldova. Creating a smooth, balanced flavour that is both mildly tangy and delicately sweet. With no added sugar or artificial preservatives, it is a pure and natural condiment, just as it was made in the past.
Tecuci has been synonymous with exceptional mustard, and Conu' Tache continues that legacy with an old recipe said to originate from the banks of the Bahlui River. This mustard is perfect with Romanian 'mici', roasted meats, cheeses or sandwiches.
