A traditional, Romanian aubergine dip or spread known as 'salata de vinete', with the tasty and unique addition of roasted peppers and honey. The honey adds a delicate, subtle sweetness to the dip and the peppers roasted on the fire are a delicious addition. We love this simply served with fresh bread and butter.

The spread is made by combining charred aubergines cooked on the fire with grape seed oil, seasoning, roasted peppers & honey. It is a well loved speciality in Romania and this version is truly unmissable!
