These delicious dried sour cherries have a dark red colour and the perfect tangy flavour of sweet and sour. Sour cherries known as 'vișine' in Romania are one of the countries favourites fruits, often made into jam, syrups and liqueurs. But here we have them dried and 100% natural with no added preservatives or sugars. They are the perfect healthy addition to salads, breakfast bowls, snack bars, savoury stews or can be added to any baked goods such as breads or cakes.

The sour cherries are collected from the Apuseni mountain region of Transylvania, where they are then sorted by hand and dehydrated in the small workshop of 'Bunătăți Uscate'. They are dried using low temperatures so that the flavours are intensified and the products retain a high proportion of their nutrients & vitamins. Sour cherries are particularly abundant in Vitamin A, Vitamin C, fiber, potassium & antioxidants.
