A pure cold pressed oil from rosehip seeds & dry pulp (maximum 10-20%). 100% natural, obtained by natural decantation, without filtration and produced in Maramureș.

Rosehip oil contains vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin A, vitamin B, linoleic, Omega 3 and 6, iron and forms of polyunsaturated fatty acids. It is a power house for the immune system, creating a barrier against viruses and is also beneficial in periods of physical or intellectual overload, anxiety and after illness. It also has a number of cosmetic benefits due to its regenerative, anti-inflammatory, hydrating and skin rejuvenating properties.

The oils produced by Ulei Șomcuta are naturally decanted, unfiltered, cold pressed oils. After pressing the seeds, the crude oil is left to decant (clarify) naturally in special basins. The decanting takes between one to three weeks, but the taste is certainly worth it and so are the benefits of the oils - almost all of the nutritional values are preserved during the process. The oils are only produced in small quantities, to ensure that they are always fresh and the taste is maximised. Ulei Șomcuta strive for their products to be as close as possible to the way that nature offers them.
