This recipe is often produced in the autumn as a preserve for the winter months, made by combining grated, cooked beetroot with horseradish, caraway, oil & seasoning. It is a much loved Romanian speciality that is often featured at the festive table including Christmas, New Year & Easter.
We love at Easter with roast lamb or at Christmas time with roast ham.
